To mark the last day of school, Francis Patton Primary School held an end of year celebration, with the PTA thanking parents, community partners, and school staff.
A spokesperson said, “Tuesday, June 29 marked the last day of school for our students of excellence at Francis Patton Primary School in what will be a school year none of us will ever forget due to the global Covid-19 pandemic.
“As parents, we put on our teacher hats and synergized with the staff to ensure that our children did not fall behind in their studies. On behalf of the PTA, we want to thank all the parents for all of your support, especially in these trying times. Together, we definitely embraced the courage to lead.

“As we close our school year, we would like to acknowledge several community partners who generously contributed to our students and the wonderful staff of Francis Patton primary School having a fantastic end of year celebration through substantial donations. Those generous companies are The MarketPlace, Butterfield and Vallis, Clarien Bank, Mr. Carlos Symonds, and Lindo’s Devonshire.
“Have a wonderful summer everyone and we look forward to synergizing with you all in September 2021!
“Lastly, good luck to the primary 6 students of excellence who will embark on a new educational journey. Continue to represent Francis Patton Primary School to the best of your abilities.”
