Man Extracted From Vehicle Following Crash
A man had to be extracted from a vehicle following a collision in Smiths on Monday.
A police spokesperson said, “The driver of a private electric car received treatment at King Edward VII Memorial Hospital for injuries said to be non-life threatening following a collision with a taxi that occurred around 10:35am Monday, 28th March 2022 on South Road in Smith’s parish, near the junction with Sayle Road.
“It should be noted that the 52-year- old man had to be extracted from the car by firefighters. The Smith’s parish resident apparently sustained injuries to his face, arms and legs.
“The taxi driver involved, said to be a 51-year-old Sandys parish man, was not hurt.
