Dr Brown To Host Book Signing On Friday
Former Premier of Bermuda Dr. Ewart Brown will be holding a book signing event on Friday [April 8] from 12.00pm to 2.00pm at The Bookmart.
A spokesperson said, “Following the successful debut of his long-awaited autobiography “Whom Shall I Fear? Pushing the Politics of Change” former Premier of Bermuda, Dr. the Hon. Ewart Brown is delighted to be back in the land of his birth for an additional book signing event on Friday, April 8, from 12 noon until 2 pm at The Bookmart, located in Brown & Co. Ltd in Hamilton.
“In this event-filled memoir, Dr. Brown shares the experiences that shaped him as a physician-politician committed to progressive change, which defined his often-tumultuous time in office. Published in November 2019, the book was an instant bestseller locally, in the United States, and throughout the Caribbean.”
Premier Brown explained that “the original plans for people to have their copies signed had to be curtailed as the global pandemic emerged soon after the book’s release.
“So many people expressed disappointment that they were unable to attend a signing due to public health restrictions and asked us to consider rescheduling at a later date. I am happy to advise the time has come. My entire team looks forward to seeing our many friends and supporters at Brown & Co. on Friday.”
A spokesperson said, “Whom Shall I Fear? Pushing the Politics of Change’ will be available for purchase during the event. Additionally, Bermudians and residents who have already have a copy of Dr. Ewart Brown’s autobiography and wish to have it signed are more than welcome.”
Former Premier Brown added, “Wanda and I are grateful for the community’s ongoing prayers and encouragement. The widespread support of my book speaks to the desire of Bermudians to see their people and experiences reflected accurately through the written word so the generations to come will know the true history of not only our struggles but also our victories.”
