Video: Sunday June 12th ‘Good News’ Spotlight

News that Eden Woollery, Micah Lambert and Bridget Marshall won medals at the Special Olympics in Florida, FIFA and ESPN highlighted Dante Leverock’s goal, Reggie Lambe became the island’s most capped footballer, and Daren Herbert will star in season three of the Canadian television show ‘Pretty Hard Cases’ were all some of the positive news stories from the past week.

In additional good news, Elijah Daley won a silver medal, Erica Hawley won her Bolder Boulder 10K age group, Justin Donawa was offered a new deal by Solihull Moors and Ravi Cannonier-Watson performing at a Jubilee concert.

Other good news stories included a hotel stay prize being offered for donating blood, Bacardi working to reduce single-use plastics, Liberty Mutual and KBB cleaning up at Astwood Park, Bermuda’s foster parents recognized at a tea event, Isaiah Cabral being awarded the Deloitte scholarship, and Asia Atienza, Sophia Marsh, and Zahra Wilson being selected for Chubb internships.
