Cricket: Rawlins’ Sussex Lose To Lancashire
Delray Rawlins and Sussex were denied a place in the Royal London One-Day Cup final after losing to Lancashire at the 1st Central County Ground in Hove today.
Lancashire, who won by 65 runs, won the toss and batted first, scoring 319 runs with the loss of eight wickets from their 50 overs. Dane Vilas top-scored with a superb 121.
Slow left-armer Rawlins conceded 76 runs from his ten overs and was without a wicket.
In reply, Sussex were all out for 254 off 46.3 overs. Rawlins, batting at No 7, scored 23 runs off 14 balls before being bowled by seamer Tom Bailey.
