Preschools & Primary School Open Houses
Bermuda’s public schools are inviting parents and prospective students to a series of Preschool and Primary School Open Houses in advance of registration for the 2023 – 2024 school year.
A Government spokesperson said, “The Open Houses will take place at the school sites, as per the schedule posted on the Ministry of Education web sites and respective schools’ social media and webpages, and as summarized below:
- Eastern Zone schools – Thursday, November 3
- Central Zone schools – Tuesday, November 8
- Western Zone schools – Tuesday, November 8
“The events take place between 9 am and 12 noon.”
Commissioner of Education, Mrs. Kalmar Richards said: “We invite parents and guardians to visit our schools and meet school leaders and key staff members. Ask questions and leave confident that your children will be in good hands.”
The spokesperson said, “The annual open house events are for Bright Start, Preschool and Primary School and are especially important for parents who plan on registering their children in public preschools and primary schools for the first time.
“Online Registration for preschools and primary schools for the 2023 – 2024 school year takes place from November 14 – 30. Middle and Senior School Registration are to be announced at a later date.”
