BUEI Close To Reaching Target Goal For Appeal
The Bermuda Underwater Exploration Institute [BUEI] said they are close to teaching target goal for their annual appeal.
A spokesperson said, “With one week remaining, there is still time to support the Bermuda Underwater Exploration Institute [BUEI] reach the target goal for our Annual Appeal.
“Our ocean’s future depends on people who are willing to help safeguard its health. We are pleased to reveal that our Board Members are ‘walking the walk’ and have acted by pledging to match dollar for dollar of the funds raised during our appeal. [Up to $20,000]
“We are happy to share that we are only $1,500 shy of meeting the $20,000 match-it target from our very generous Board Members.
“As a registered nonprofit charity, your financial support helps us to continue serving our community through our exhibits and educational programmes.
“We are proud of the impact BUEI has had over the past 25 years in keeping Bermuda’s marine history alive, supporting conservation and an appreciation for the ocean, and providing education opportunities to tens of thousands of students and visitors to our facility.” said Karla Lacey, BUEI CEO “We are incredibly thankful for the generosity of our all-volunteer Board, and donors.
