Video: Sunday July 30th ‘Good News’ Spotlight
News that the Bermuda U19 rugby team returning home with medals, Brianna Benevides and Aaliyah Lee earned Butterfield scholarships, Dayla Richards and D’wzjhane’ Smith received scholarships, and D.S Malachi Dates and Riley Morbey earned PwC scholarships were all some of the positive news stories from the past week.
In additional good news, a visitor to the island met iconic Bermudian cricket player Dwayne Leverock, DaRock Elite Academy enjoyed a “dream-like” tour, Nicole Mitchell qualified for the Ironman 70.3 World Championship, Cody Rego achieved top placings in week three of the 2023 Great Lakes Equestrian Festival, and the Bermuda boys’ squash team won a bronze medal at the Junior Caribbean Championships.
