Football: Nahki Wells Suffers Ankle Injury
Nahki Wells, the Bristol City striker, is expected to be out for several weeks after sustaining an ankle injury during his side’s 2-1 defeat away to Leeds United in the Sky Bet Championship last weekend.
Wells needed help from a physio to leave the field in the 30th minute after a challenge from Pascal Struijk, the Leeds captain, who accidentally fell onto the Bermudian’s ankle.
The 33-year-old, who has scored three goals in all competitions this season, has been fitted with a protective boot as part of his rehabilitation.
