Photos & Video: Fundraising Walk-A-Thon Held
A walk-a-thon was held today [Oct 8] in memory of Le-Jai Simmons in an effort to raise funds to promote asthma awareness.
Lindsay Bishop, Director of Asthma Education at Open Airways, said, “Open Airways wishes to express their gratitude to the family and friends of Le-Jai Simmons, who sadly died of asthma as a young adult.
“Their generosity is especially kind as Le-Jai was not our patient. The funds will go directly to our various education and medication assistance programs with the goal of preventing further tragedies.”
