Kamau Leverock Scores Ninth Most T20 Runs
Kamau Leverock, the Bermuda national team cricketer, has scored the ninth most runs in T20 internationals this year.
The left-handed batter scored 525 runs in 11 matches, with a highest score of 103 against Panama in the ICC Men’s T20 Americas World Cup Qualifier in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in March.
Leverock, who also scored three half-centuries, had an average of 52.50 and a strike rate of 162.53. The all-rounder hit 48 fours and 30 sixes.
The 29-year-old was named the Bermuda national team player of the year at the recent Bermuda Cricket Board annual awards.
Muhammad Waseem, of the United Arab Emirates, scored the most runs this year, scoring 806 from 21 matches.
