Kaden Hopkins Finishes Ninth In Stage Four
Bermudian cyclist Kaden Hopkins finished ninth in the fourth stage of the Essor Basque in France today [February 10].
Hopkins, who races for French development team Vendée U, continued his encouraging start to the season in the La Ronde Du Pays Basque, which took place from St Jean Le Vieux to St Jean Pied De Port over 117 kilometres.
The 23-year-old, whose team-mate Benjamin Marais won stage four, came eighteenth in the first stage and eighth in the second stage last weekend.
The weeklong Essor Basque continues tomorrow with the final stage, the Trophée de l’Essor-Tour de la Soule, a 123.3km race.
