SailGP Teams Partner With Local Clubs
The ten SailGP teams competing in the upcoming Apex Group Bermuda Sail Grand Prix – taking place at Morgan’s Point on May 4-5 – have partnered with local clubs and community groups as part of the global league’s ‘Adopt a Club’ program.
A spokesperson said, “Through the program – which is part of the global league’s youth and community outreach Program Inspire – Club members will look forward to visiting the teams’ bases at the SailGP Tech Site and seeing the high-performance, F50 catamarans – capable of reaching speeds of close to 100 km per hour – up close. In exchange, the ten international teams will also be hosted by the local clubs, learning about their experiences and programs as well as meeting their members.”

- Endeavour East – Switzerland SailGP Team

The spokesperson said, “The Apex Group Bermuda Sail Grand Prix will take place on May 4-5, 2024 with tickets available for purchase at SailGP.com/Bermuda. The event’s festivities include a live concert by soca sensation, Kes the Band, following the opening day of racing.”
