Swimmers Win Four More Medals At Carifta
Connor Hupman continued his impressive form after claiming two more medals at the Carifta Aquatics Championships in Nassau, the Bahamas, yesterday [April 2].
The 14-year-old won silver in the boys 13-14 400 metres freestyle in 4min 26.06sec before securing bronze in the 50 freestyle in 25.20 to take his overall tally to seven medals.
Madelyn Moore, the team’s most experienced swimmer, also enjoyed medal success, claiming bronze in the girls 18 and over 50 freestyle in 26.11, adding to the golds she won in the 50 backstroke and 50 butterfly.
Meanwhile, Rory Shepherd won his third bronze at the championships, finishing third in the boys 11-12 200 backstroke in 2:36.44.
