Two People Injured After Truck Collision
Two people have been taken to hospital after a collision on North Shore this morning [May 24] involving two trucks.
A police spokesperson said, “Around 8:15 AM on Friday, 24th of May 2024 police and other first responders were dispatched to a report of a serious two vehicle collision, involving a dumpster truck and a water truck on North Shore Road, in the vicinity of Overview, Hill, Pembroke.
“It is believed that the trucks were traveling in opposite directions when the collision occurred. Both male drivers were transported to King Edward Memorial Hospital, for treatment of their injuries. The extent of their injuries is not known at this time.
“As a result of this collision, the roadway is completely blocked. Diversion have been put in place at Overview Hill and Langton Hill while the scene is being examined and cleared.
