AXA XL Celebrates Annual Global Day Of Giving
AXA XL’s annual Global Day of Giving involved over 4,000 colleagues globally — including in Bermuda — volunteering for 240 projects.
A spokesperson said, “AXA XL recently held its annual Global Day of Giving as part of AXA’s Week for Good. During the Global Day of Giving more than 4,000 AXA XL colleagues around the world volunteered their time and talent to charitable organizations in their communities by participating in 240 projects.
“Bermuda-based employees engaged in a variety of projects involving local charities including:
- The Reading Clinic – painting two offices.
- Meals on Wheels – deep cleaning of the large kitchen and painting of all common areas of the building.
- KBB – picking up trash in the Palmetto Road, Barker’s Hill, and North Shore Road, Devonshire area.
- The Eliza DoLittle Society – organizing the pantry, packing of food bags, and stocking shelves.
- Windreach – carrying out various maintenance tasks at Windreach and on the nearby trails.
- Tomorrow’s Voices – painting rooms, moving file cabinets, and general cleaning.
- National Museum of Bermuda – assisting with the conservation of the NMB’s collection of artillery.”
