Kaleidoscope Arts Surpasses Fundraising Goal
Kaleidoscope Arts Foundation surpassed its $135,000 fundraising goal, raising $139,964 thanks to community support.
A spokesperson said, “Kaleidoscope Arts Foundation, which has been empowering children through art since 2006, announced in June that they needed to fundraise $135,000 within three months in order to meet its needs and stay sustainable. Today, they are excited and thankful to announce that they have exceeded this goal and have raised $139,964 through community donations.”
“Thank you to everyone who reached out, who gave, and promoted our 1 of 1,000 request. We are so thankful for our amazing community members and donors for stepping up and supporting this annual appeal. It was difficult and frustrating for me to think about Kaleidoscope shutting its doors, but luckily our community has spoken and reminded us how essential we are!” said Founder and Director Fiona Rodriguez-Roberts.
“Kaleidoscope is starting September where we need to be, asking for more support for our programming, sharing with the community our true cost of small class sizes, and keeping amazing teachers on staff,” Ms Rodriguez-Roberts added.
The spokesperson said, “Kaleidoscope Arts Foundation will be offering a range of class options from ages 18 months through to adults starting in September. For details visit kaf.bm or contact info@kaf.bm or 542-9000.”
