Pitt-Clarke & Ratteray-Smith Earn Scholarships
The Bermuda Hotel Association awarded the Bermuda Hotel Association Adrian Hassell Memorial Scholarships to Najee Pitt-Clarke and Jaz Ratteray-Smith.
A spokesperson said, “The Bermuda Hotel Association [BHA] is very pleased to announce the recent awarding of the Annual Bermuda Hotel Association Adrian Hassell Memorial Scholarship to the following recipients:
BHA Board Directors JP Martens, Theresa Harney-Zuill, BHA President Clarence Hofheins, Najee Pitt-Clarke, BHA Board Director Rehanna Palumbo and BHA CEO Stephen Todd.
“Ms. Najee Pitt-Clarke was awarded a $12,500.00 scholarship towards her future studies at the University of Reading, Reading, United Kingdom where she will be pursuing her interest in culinary arts and hospitality management. She is pictured receiving her award from the BHA President, Clarence Hofheins, along with BHA Board of Directors, JP Martens, Theresa Harney Zuill, Rehanna Palumbo and BHA CEO Stephen Todd.
“Mr. Jaz Ratteray-Smith was awarded a $12,500.00 scholarship towards his future studies at the George Brown College, Toronto, Canada where he will be pursuing his interest in the specific area of study that of Hotel Management. He is pictured receiving his award from the BHA President, Clarence Hofheins, along with BHA Board of Directors, JP Martens, Theresa Harney Zuill, Rehanna Palumbo and BHA CEO Stephen Todd.
“The scholarship is awarded on an annual basis to Bermudian residents who are pursuing their studies in the hospitality / hotel industry with a view to seeking career opportunities upon their completion and return to the island.
