“The team is using a league-provided F50 and will primarily train using the newly designed T-Foils slated to roll out league wide for the 24/25 season.”

“This training camp is an opportunity for us to improve,” said Mike Buckley, U.S. SailGP Team co-owner, CEO, and athlete. “Last season we only had ten days of open training and most were in light conditions. Bermuda will allow us to double our time on the water and test things that we wouldn’t on a race day.”

“This camp presents an opportunity to kick off efforts to build a scalable process for athlete development and evaluation, which will be a critical step towards ensuring the long-term goals of our team,” said Head Coach Evan Aras. “Every great sports team has a functional development system and we don’t want to be any different.”

The spokesperson said, “The group of athletes, including some familiar faces, will be in attendance for the training camp to share the physical and mental load and to increase the number of American athletes with time in F50. This group includes 2024 Olympic bronze medalist Hans Henken, Scott Ewing, Malcolm Lamphere, Leo Boucher, Stephan Baker, Justin Callahan, and Tommy Sitzmann.
