[Updated] The Bermuda national women’s hockey team is matching up against Mexico this evening [Sept 22] as part of the Pan American Challenge at the National Sports Centre, and you can watch replay below.
Update: The Bermuda women’s national hockey team faced tournament favourites Mexico in their second pool game in the Women’s Pan American Challenge at the National Sports Centre.
The home side suffered a 5-0 defeat to Mexico, the Central American and Caribbean [CAC] Games champions.
Grecia Mendoza scored a hat-trick for Mexico, with Dariana Cardiel and Arlette Estrade also netting.
In the day’s earlier game, Paraguay, who beat Bermuda 2-0 on Saturday, drew 0-0 with Guyana.
Brazil play Mexico in today’s match at 6 pm [BDA time]; meanwhile, Bermuda are back in action tomorrow against Guyana at 6 pm.
Only one team from the group will advance to the Women’s Pan American Cup in Montevideo, Uruguay, next summer.
