BPO Advises Of Canada Post Delays
The Bermuda Post Office [BPO] is “advising the public that Canada Post is currently engaged in an ongoing national strike.”
A BPO spokesperson said: “At this time, the BPO will continue to accept and transport mail to Canada, however BPO customers are advised that there will be delivery delays due to the strike.”
A BPO spokesperson confirmed that once service resumes, mail items will be processed and delivered as quickly as possible.
The spokesperson added: “The BPO regrets any inconvenience caused to its valued customers.”
Forget the Canadian Post. I am wondering what happened to a letter mailed to me from Hamilton in January 2016. Once, I inquired at the post office why our mail had not been delivered for over six weeks; I got dirty looks when the person returned to the counter with a PILE of mail. No apology, no explanation. Now, my wife goes to the post office to avoid me saying something that will result in the BPS being called.
