How about Jason Hayward? For years he kept Bermuda’s retail price inflation rate below that of the U.S., U.K., or Canada. That is an economic feat most economists would consider impossible.
Given how much the family have given to Bermuda over the years, including helping hundreds of Bermudians through school and college, and in a time when very few have backed us, surely Peter Green should be considered. Timely with his unfortunate death last week, but a real Bermuda hero.
Peter Green has contributed with out doubt a great part of his life to the people of Bermuda .
Bermuda is truly saddened and suffers a great loss by his un timely passing.
His generosity and kindness to many people is more than worthy of recognition and nomination as a Bermuda National Hero
