Donna Raynor Mentoring Women In Bahamas
Donna Raynor, a World Athletics Council member, is sharing her experience with 22 female administrators from the Caribbean at a gender leadership event in Nassau, Bahamas.
Raynor is serving as one of three mentors at the event, which started on Thursday and runs until tomorrow [November 18].
Also attending the programme are Mia Bean, the Bermuda National Athletics Association general secretary, and Jarita Vickers, the BNAA treasurer.
“We’re training these women and helping build their confidence to become leaders,” Raynor, the former BNAA president, told Bernews.
“We want to maintain the flow of women in positions at the World Athletics Council.
“We had a similar training event in January in Miami where we had 20 participants.”
