Ball Hockey: Hamilton Princess Defeat ACT
The Hamilton Princess defeated ACT 7-6 in a shootout in the Bermuda ball hockey winter league at the PCC Hockey Rink .
ACT opened the scoring in the first period with a goal from Ian Beaudoin. The Hamilton Princess responded with three unanswered goals from James Vansickle [2] and Richard Campbell.
Beaudoin scored twice in the second period to complete his hat trick, but Campbell’s second goal of the game gave the Princess a 4-3 lead heading into the third period.
ACT took the lead in the third period with goals from Jake Fenske, Satish Balendran, and John King. However, the Princess tied the game with goals from Mathew Benson and Campbell, who completed his hat trick.
The game went to a shootout, where Benson scored the decisive goal to give the Hamilton Princess the victory.
