Bermudian Twins Launch Children’s Book
First-time authors and Bermudian twins, Allison Aydin and Claire Fox, have released their debut book, Look & Find Bermuda.
The vibrant photo riddle book invites readers of all ages to search for iconic Bermuda treasures in a fun and interactive experience.
The inspiration for Look & Find Bermuda evolved from Claire’s creation of a personalised Look & Find book for her first nephew, Elliot.
Now, as mothers themselves, Allison and Claire have expanded on that idea, bringing the magic of Bermuda to a wider audience.
Having moved to Toronto to study at the University of Toronto, Allison now lives there with her husband and two young sons.
She describes the joy of reading books with her three-year-old: “My eldest loves books, and we spend so much time exploring Look & Find books together.
“Though we’re lucky to visit family on the island often, I wanted my boys to have a piece of Bermuda with them, no matter where we are.
“This photo riddle book felt like the perfect way to keep that connection alive.”
Claire, who works as a Science Education Officer at ASU Bermuda Institute of Ocean Sciences and is the mother of a one-year-old daughter, knows first-hand the impact of engaging books on young minds.
“Captivating books have the power to inspire a lifelong love of reading and learning,” Claire said.
