Hayward Sets Personal Best In Season Opener
Middle-distance runner Simeon Hayward got his indoor track and field season off to a flying start with a personal best performance at the Liberty Kickoff.
Competing for High Point University at the Liberty University indoor track complex, Hayward took to the track for the men’s 800m. He delivered a strong performance, crossing the line in a personal best time of 1:56.48 to secure an impressive 3rd place finish.
Hayward also played a key role in High Point’s 4x400m relay team, running the anchor leg for the ‘B’ team, he helped them to a 6th place finish with a time of 3:21.59.
