Tirena Rollins was paid a poignant tribute by water truckers.

Ms. Rollins, who recently passed away, had a parade of at least 20 water trucks pay tribute to her on the day of her funeral on January 11. Ms. Rollins was the first woman to own and operate a water delivery service in Bermuda.

Several TikToks paid homage to her history-making life, and several commentators called the parade of water trucks a “beautiful tribute” to her memory.

Irving Outerbridge Sr, who owns Lightnin Water Service, posted the video on TikTok and said, “It was great to honor her. She definitely deserved it. As small as she was, she was super hardworking.”

From her company, Liquid Gold Bermuda’s Facebook page states that Ms. Rollins started her company in 2019 after serving 38 years with the Bermuda Police Service, where she retired with the rank of sergeant. The page says, “Her years on The Bermuda Police Service gained her a wealth of knowledge and experience in customer service and integrity when dealing with people and her community.”
