Daley Wins More Medals At Coupe Du Québec

Elijah Daley continued his impressive performance at the Coupe du Québec senior swimming championships, held at the PEPS of Laval University, adding two more medals to his tally on the second day of competition.

Daley began his day in the men’s 50m butterfly preliminaries. He finished 4th with a season-best time of 25.55 seconds, qualifying for the A final. In the men’s 50m butterfly A final, Daley improved on his preliminary time, clocking a new season-best of 25.42 seconds and claiming the bronze medal.

Daley then transitioned to the men’s 200m breaststroke. In the Preliminaries, he touched the wall in 2:26.44, finishing 4th and securing his place in the A final. The A final of the men’s 200 breaststroke saw Daley achieve his second medal of the day, winning the silver medal with a personal best time of 2:23.59.
