Cycling: Winners Edge Road Race Results
The Bermuda Bicycle Association’s first road race of the season got underway today [April 6] with the Winners Edge Road Race held on Kindley Field Road.
A spokesperson said, “The 2025 road racing season kicked off in style with a great turnout for the Winners Edge Road Race held on Kindley Field Road. Under bright skies and a lively crowd, cyclists across all categories put on an exciting show for the first event of the year.
“In the A Category, it was Conor White [Muck-Off-SRCT-Stork] who stormed to victory, followed by Matt Boys[Winners Edge] in second and Steven Smith [VT Construction] in third.
“The B Category was won by Dylan Eiselt [Winners Edge], with Forrest Chris Nusum [Winners Edge] in second and Alan Mooney [BRCC] rounding out the podium in third
“In the C Category, Ian Henderson [BRCC] took the top spot, with Jens Drea [VT Construction] and Rory Shepherd[Independent] rounding out the podium WE Road Race Results.
“Leading the Women’s Category, Naomi MacGuinness [Independent] crossed the line first, followed by Sofia Leclerc[VT Construction] and Skye Ferguson [Winners Edge]WE Road Race Results.
“A big thank you to Winners Edge for organising another exciting race, and to Race Director Greg Hopkins, Chief Referee Charles Thresh, and Chief Judge Deborah Narraway for overseeing the event. Gratitude also goes to the marshals for keeping our cyclists safe on course, the volunteer timing crew led by Peter Dunne for delivering accurate results, and all officials for ensuring the rules of the road were upheld.
