Bermuda Beach Art Festival Seeks Sponsors
The Bermuda Beach Art Festival organizers extend warm Mother’s Day wishes to all moms, share their hopes of bringing the event back this October, and are currently looking for sponsors.
A spokesperson said, “The Bermuda Beach Art Festival organizers wish all the mom’s Happy Mothers Day. The organisers are hoping to put the event on the calendar this year in October and are looking for sponsors. If anyone or organization would like to be a sponsor please contact Nicky Gurret at gurret@northrock.bm.”
“The festival is a celebration of Bermuda’s beautiful beaches expressed in art right on and in the sand,” a spokesperson said. “In the past it took place every March on beaches across the island where they are adorned with amazing beach art that only lasts until the next high tide washes them away.
“For the Bermuda Art Festival one uses a rake to create pieces of art between the high and low tide mark where the sand is smooth and just below the surface still moist. The rake is like a paint brush and the beach is like a canvas and with imagination eco art is created.”
