Cameron Jeffers Impresses In Bristol Wins
Cameron Jeffers helped Bristol West Indian Phoenix Cricket Club First XI defeat Frenchay Cricket Club by 66 runs in an away match in the WEPL Bristol & North Somerset on Saturday [June 21].
Jeffers, batting at No 9, scored five runs as his team posted 268 all out from 50 overs.
In reply, Frenchay were all out for 222 from 44.2 overs, with Jeffers, a leg-break bowler, claiming one wicket for 50 from ten overs.
Yesterday, Jeffers played in Bristol West Indian Phoenix’s 47-run home win over Twyford House in the Gloucestershire County Cup.
Batting No 9, Jeffers scored 26 not out off 19 balls, including two fours and a six as his team posted 228 for eight off 35 overs.
In reply, Twyford scored 181 all out off 29.2 overs.
Jeffers bowled six overs for 38 runs and took a catch.
