DeSilva-Andrade Wins Three Boccia Games
[Updated with video] Yushae DeSilva-Andrade has won her opening three matches at the Poznan 2025 World Boccia Challenger in Poland yesterday [June 25].
Competing in the BC1 women’s division, DeSilva-Andrade defeated Buket Sema Demirtas, of Turkey, 12-5 before beating Slovakian Daniela Drotarova 4-1.
In round three, the Bermudian triumphed 7-0 over Anna Vacková, of the Czech Republic.
DeSilva-Andrade, who is top of Pool A, faces Poland’s Kinga Koza today.
