Lindsay & Carreiro Win Race For Memories
Gayle Lindsay and John Carreiro raced to victory in the Race for Memories, a 5K event held in Bermuda’s East End.
In the women’s competition, Gayle Lindsay – who recently won the Bermuda Day race – secured first place with a time of 18 minutes, 36 seconds. Christine Dailey finished second, clocking 18 minutes, 48 seconds. Naomi Macguinness took third in the female category, finishing sixth overall in 19 minutes, 14 seconds.
The men’s race concluded with John Carreiro as the top male finisher, earning his championship title with a time of 19 minutes, 5 seconds. Marquis Burgess placed second among male competitors, recording a time of 19 minutes, 13 seconds. Joe Barrowclough claimed the third male position, finishing fifth overall with the same time of 19 minutes, 13 seconds.
