Ex-Artillerymen’s Donates $1K To Charity
The Ex-Artillerymen’s Association donated $1,000 from their annual Mother’s Day Brunch proceeds to The Gina Spence Program’s Each One Reach One Back to School initiative.
A spokesperson said, “The Entertainment Committee of The Ex-Artillerymen’s Association held their annual Mother’s Day Brunch on Sunday May 11th 2025. Since inception, May 2017, part proceeds have been donated to a charity. This year’s recipient of $1,000 was The Gina Spence Program for their Each One Reach One Back to School Program. The presentation took place at The Ex-Artilleryman’s Association located at 72 Victoria Street on Wednesday July 2nd 2025. We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who attended which enabled us to give to this worthy charity.”

- Each-One-Reach-One Back to School [EORO] – EORO aims to annually equip Bermuda’s children—especially those impacted by grief and financial hardship—with essential uniforms, backpacks, and starter kits, supporting over 12,000 students through partnerships, fundraising, and a community-driven uniform recycling program.
- Christmas Gift of Giving Event [CGOG] – Launched in 2002, CGOG initiative brings essential support and hope to Bermuda’s at-risk seniors, children, and families each holiday season through food hampers, pharmaceutical gift cards, and donated toys, alleviating hardship and spreading joy across the community.
- Bermuda’s Grief & Loss Awareness Day [BGLAD] – Spearheaded by the visionary Executive Director Mykiee Jones, Bermuda’s Grief & Loss Awareness Day unites individuals, families, and organizations each March to acknowledge grief’s impact, foster community healing, and ensure that no one in Bermuda navigates loss alone.
