DaRock Footballers On Tour Of England
Promising young footballers from the DaRock Elite Academy are developing their skills on tour in England, training with top coaches and playing matches against academy teams.
The trip has started in the north-west of England, with the young players visiting the academy of Sky Bet League One side Bolton Wanderers.
“After a long day of travel, we hit the ground running with our first training session at Bolton Wanderers Academy,” said Danté Leverock, the Bermuda defender and founder of the DaRock Elite Academy.
“Huge thank you to Bolton for hosting us and giving our players a top-level experience.”
The tour has also included a visit to Old Trafford – the iconic home of Premier League side Manchester United, with the players experiencing a stadium and museum tour.
“The boys were fully engaged and took in valuable lessons to apply on and off the pitch,” Leverock added.
The players also attended a match at the Hill Dickinson Stadium – the new home of Everton – where they watched a 2-0 win for the Premier League side against lower league Mansfield Town in the Carabao Cup.
The DaRock Elite Academy will also be heading to London as part of the trip.
