BBBS Tag Day Raises $21K For Youth Mentorship
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Bermuda raised over $21,000 through their ‘Tag Day with a Twist,’ supporting mentorship programs for the island’s youth.
A spokesperson said, “Big Brothers Big Sisters of Bermuda [BBBS] is thrilled to announce the success of its annual Tag Day with a Twist, held on Friday, September 26, 2025. This year’s event invited community members to donate $10 for a chance to win exciting prizes— all while helping support mentorship programs for Bermuda’s youth.
“Thanks to the overwhelming generosity of the community, BBBS raised over $21,000, which will directly support programming and services for children and their families across the island.
“BBBS is pleased to congratulate this year’s prize winners:
- “iPhone 16 Winner: Deanne Hart, iPhone 16 from One Communications.
- “Grand Prize Winner: Glenn Riley, who received two round-trip airline tickets to any BermudAir destination, along with a meal for two at Rock & Barrel before departure.”
“These contributions play a vital role in helping us continue our mission of providing quality mentorship, support, and opportunities to young people in Bermuda,” said Patrina O’ConnorPaynter BBBS Managing Director. “We are grateful for everyone who donated, volunteered, or helped spread the word. Your support means the world to the children and families we serve.”
