Day 3: Butterfield Bermuda Championship
American Adam Schenk shares the lead with compatriot Braden Thornberry heading into the final round of the Butterfield Bermuda Championship at Port Royal Golf Course.
Shenk went bogey-free during the third round today [November 15] to card a four-under 67, while Thornberry posted a 69 to join Schenk at 12-under 201.
The group one shot behind included Canadian Adam Hadwin, who had the 36-hole lead.
He fired a 71 and is tied for third with Max McGreevy [69], Chandler Phillips [70] and Takumi Kanaya of Japan [66].
Rikuya Hoshino, also of Japan, had a 67 and is two behind.
Many of the players are aiming to secure a top-100 ranking to earn PGA Tour cards for next year.
The tournament carries $6 million in prize money, with the winner set to take home $1.08 million.
The final round of the championship is tomorrow.
