Bermuda Sailors Compete At Orange Bowl Regatta
Fifteen Bermuda sailors are competing in the 2025 TUUCI Orange Bowl International Youth Regatta at the Coral Reef Yacht Club. Light wind conditions on Biscayne Bay restricted racing on the opening day, with only a portion of the fleet completing scheduled events.
In the ILCA 6 division, Miguel Power is in third place overall with two points. Sean Pedro occupies 17th place in the ILCA 4 fleet with 17 points after one completed race.
Thatcher Coulter, representing Bermuda in the Green Fleet, is in 54th place overall with 159 points after three races. Coulter recorded a 34th-place finish in the first race of the day.
Twelve Bermuda sailors are entered in the Optimist fleet. The participants include Leo De Couto, Hudson Pitcher, Benjamin De Couto, Aaron Riker, Miguel Leite, Ishmael Dill, Thomas McBain, James De Couto, Alfie Jansma, Rex Henagulph, Calypso Coulter, and Ethan Adelsberg.
The regatta continues on Biscayne Bay with competition scheduled across all divisions.
