Bermuda Swimmers Compete At Music City Invite
Bermuda swimmers representing the Baylor Swimming Club competed at the 2025 NAC Timedrop Music City Invite in Nashville.
Gabriel Maranzana recorded a victory in the 13–14 age group A Final of the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 22.44. He finished second in the 100-yard freestyle A Final, clocking 49.17, and won the 200-yard freestyle B Final in 1:48.66.
Noah Maranzana, returning to competition following shoulder surgery, placed sixth in the 100-yard freestyle C Final with a time of 49.05. He also competed in the 200-yard and 50-yard freestyle events.
Katherine Wheddon finished eighth in the 100-yard freestyle B Final, touching the wall in 55.12. Wheddon also competed in the 200-yard freestyle, 200-yard individual medley, 500-yard freestyle and 100-yard backstroke.
Violet Smith placed eighth in the 200-yard backstroke C Final with a time of 2:11.04. Smith also swam in the 200-yard freestyle, 50-yard freestyle, 50-yard backstroke and 100-yard backstroke.
Maggie Mewett finished eighth in the 50-yard freestyle C Final, recording a time of 25.11. She also participated in the 100-yard freestyle and 100-yard butterfly.
