Elijah Daley Earns Male Swimmer Of The Week
Bermudian swimmer Elijah Daley was named the Male Swimmer of the Week at the University of Toronto following a series of dominant performances.
The university announced the selection, stating, “EJ put up a massive triple-win weekend, taking the 50 fly, 100 fly, and 200IM, showing he’s already a major asset to the team.”
The recognition follows Daley’s strong showing at the 2025 OUA Stratten Division Championships. During that meet, he secured victories in the 200 IM with a time of 2:00.87 and the 50 butterfly in 24.52.
“EJ had many options for school but finally landed on U of T and we are very pleased to have him,” head coach Byron MacDonald said. “He will be a player on the national scene and just as importantly his demeanor and attitude are great additions to the squad.”
