Police Confirm Death Of 17-Year-Old Male
The police have confirmed the death of a 17-year-old male following a road traffic collision.
A police spokesperson said, “Around 2:35 a.m. on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, police officers were on mobile patrol in the area of the Flora Duffy South Field Stadium, Devonshire.
“As they approached the roundabout at the junction with Frog Lane, Montpelier Road and Parsons Road, they found two persons lying in the road near a motorcycle on the westbound lane of Parsons Road. The officers immediately contacted emergency services, as both individuals required medical attention.
“The injured individuals, two 17-year-old males, were attended to at the scene by EMTs and subsequently transported by ambulance to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital for further treatment of their injuries.
“One of the males was later transferred to an overseas facility for continued medical care and sadly he recently succumbed to his injuries. An investigation into this, the tenth road fatality of the year, has now commenced.
“Police are continuing the original appeal for witnesses made the same day this collision occurred and now urge anyone with information on this matter to please contact Inspector Anthony Smith on 247-1431 or via email at asmith@bps.bm as soon as possible.”
