Madisyn Bobb Preparing For Indoor Season
Madisyn Bobb is preparing for her indoor season with the University of Maryland, Baltimore County [UMBC] in the America East Conference.
Bobb is a top sprinter following in the footsteps of her father, David – a UMBC Hall of Famer and former NCAA runner-up.
She claimed a heat win in the 300 metres dash at the Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex in New York last month.
The Retrievers’ indoor campaign starts on Friday [January 9] at the VCU Rams Indoor Invitational in Virginia Beach.
Bobb, the sister of sprinter Caitlyn Bobb, and her team-mates head to University Park at Penn State for the Nittany Lion Challenge on January 17.
They return to the same venue for the Penn State National over the final weekend of January and the Sykes & Sabock Challenge on February 7.
The Dr Sander Invitational will be held at The Armory in New York City on January 23 and 24, followed by the Darius Dixon Memorial Invitational in mid-February.
The America East Indoor Championships will be held at the Track and Tennis Centre at Boston University on February 20th and 21st.
For Bobb and the Retrievers, the main objective is the NCAA Indoor Championships in Fayetteville, Arkansas, on March 13 and 14.
