Police Investigate Assault On 47-Year-Old Man
The police are investigating a report that a 47-year-old male was seriously assaulted on March 28th at the Hamilton Parish Workmen’s Club.
A police spokesperson said, “The Criminal Investigations Unit is currently conducting an investigation into a report that a 47-year-old male was seriously assaulted around 1:30am on Saturday, March 28, 2026 at the Hamilton Parish Workmen’s Club.
“Officers were able to obtain footage of the incident that was circulated on social media and noted that other persons were present when the assault occurred and would have witnessed what transpired.
“We are asking that anyone who may have recorded the incident, or who may have pertinent information but has not yet reached out to police, to make contact with the Acting Detective Inspector Seymour Foote at 247-1154/ 717-2282 or email sfoote@bps.bm.

“If you’d prefer, we urge that you share the information with a police officer you’re familiar with.

Government should really be reconsidering the grants that we, the taxpayer, give to the clubs that have a long history of violence in them.
They don’t deserve our support. If they don’t have successful youth programs they don’t deserve anything at all.
Can’t help what happens outside the club in the parking lot has nothing to do with what’s going on inside
When the tension escalates thanks to what the club helped put into the people who act up, it absolutely is partially the clubs fault. Its the club’s parking lot. Still part of the establishment. Do better.
He probably was acting the fool , no one would beat you that bad unless you did something.
