Polaris Reports Net Profits Of $841,000
Polaris — the parent company of Stevedoring Services and East End Asphalt — reported its financial results for the year ended March 31, 2026.
A spokesperson said, “On August 18, 2026 Polaris Holding Company Ltd. [“Polaris”], parent company to Stevedoring Services Limited [“SSL”], Surface Experts Ltd. [“SEL”], Duck’s Puddle Properties Ltd [“DPP”] and Ornamental Concrete Products Ltd. ["OCP"] reported its financial results for the year ended March 31, 2026.
“Polaris reported a net profit of $841K for fiscal 2026 [fiscal 2025 – $1.62 million], equivalent to earnings of $0.70 per share [fiscal 2025 – $1.36 per share]. Despite a challenging operating environment, both SSL and SEL remained profitable, contributing operating profits.
“Fiscal 2026 TEU volumes totaled 36,036 [fiscal 2025 – 34,740], increasing by 1,296 TEUs or 3.7% compared to the prior year. Breakbulk cargo volumes totaled 29,994 freight tons [fiscal 2025 – 26,457], increasing by 3,537 freight tons or 13.4% year over year.
“The increase in breakbulk volumes was primarily driven by higher imports of construction materials associated with major hotel renovations, mixed use commercial and residential developments, and affordable housing projects during the second half of the fiscal year. These projects contributed positively to SSL’s revenue performance.
“SEL posted a year end gain that demonstrates the continued stability of the business following its successful turnaround in fiscal 2025. Fiscal 2026 represented a materially weaker performance compared to the exceptional results achieved in fiscal 2025, which benefited significantly from the airport runway rehabilitation project.
“Polaris maintained a quarterly dividend of $0.05 per share throughout fiscal 2026 and declared a special dividend of $0.10 per share in October 2025, which totaled a dividend of $0.30 per share [fiscal 2025 – $0.20 per share], a 50% uptick from the prior year.”
Randy Rochester, CEO of Polaris stated, “The Company remains committed to delivering sustainable shareholder returns while maintaining a disciplined balance between capital distributions, strategic investment, and financial strength. The Board’s decision to maintain the quarterly dividend at $0.05 per share reflects its confidence in the Company’s longterm outlook and commitment to preserving financial flexibility in an evolving global environment.
“Our performance over the past year underscores the resilience of our business model and the effectiveness of our strategy. We remain focused on executing our growth priorities, allocating capital prudently, and creating long-term value for our shareholders.”
