Kevin Warner Charged For Dekimo Martin Murder
Only 5 days after the murder occurred, a man has been charged with the murder of Dekimo Martin.
This morning (June 1) amongst a heavy police presence, 20 year old Kevin Andre Warner of Warwick was charged in Magistrates Court with murder, possession of a firearm with the intent to commit an indictable offense and attempting to pervert the course of justice by getting someone to provide a false alibi. Mr. Warner was not required to enter a plea as the matter must be heard in Supreme Court. He was remanded into custody to appear on June 11th.
In addition a female, Charlita Campbell, was charged with attempting to pervert the course of justice by providing a false alibi. The 34 year old mother was released on $15,000 bail, and ordered to surrender her travel documents and report to Police station three times a week. She also was not required to enter a plea.
At approximately 1am last Friday (May 28) Mr Martin, 24, was hit by multiple gunshots at his residence of #8 Peacock Crescent, Sandy’s Parish. He was rushed to King Edward Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced dead at around 1:45am that morning.
In addition to these charges being laid 5 days after the murder, they follow only 24 hours after Antonio Myers was charged with the 2009 murder of Kumi Harford.
Mr Martin`s murder was the fifth murder of 2010, following the murders of Perry Puckerin, James Lawes, Kimwandae Walker and George Lynch. This is the first court case in relation to any of the 2010 murders.

Can someone summarize how he got off on the Kellon Hill murder? I think some people were prosecuted successfully as well?

I *hate* to infringe on freedom of speech, but I just deleted a bunch of comments – for legal reasons.
Reason being we don’t want to say anything too much about “certain” issues, as that may impact certain aspects of legal matters or get us sued.
I am so, so sorry…this is our first time deleting comments, and we hate to do so, but we need to err on the side of safety due to certain issues.
I hope they charge this woman to the fullest extent of the law, so that other people will stop harboring these criminals.
For the publics info I did not harbor anyone and I was intimidated by this man out of fear for me and my family I lied to the police yes I will admit I lied but Linda I will not admit I harboured anyone people need to get their facts straight I talked him into turning himself in after 4 hours of intimidation just a little FYI
This is how rumors start and unless you know me personallu please do not start talking falsely about me. I live an innocent life and this man just came into my life and 4 days later destroyed it so Linda again I don’t know were you got info that anyone harbored anyone but I am here to tell you there is no such thing that happened in this case.
