Bermuda Win Kitty Michael Golf Tournament

golf110519The Bermuda team led by team captain Ann Symonds also consist of Gladys Chambaz, Tracy Nash, Katyna Rabain, Wendy Salvia, Patricia Morgan, Betty-Ann Sudbury, Kathy-Lloyd Hines, Julie Delahunty-Moore and Monique Ternier have won the 33rd Annual Kitty Michael International Invitational Tournament at the Bay Course where the LPGA will play next week in New Jersey.

With a score of 768 Bermuda had the lowest Low Gross Team score thus winning the title. Southwest Florida with a score of 667 won the 2011 Low Net Team title. Ocean Reef was the Runner-Up Gross Team with 784, while Baltusrol shot 691 to finish as the Runner-Up Net Team.

Bermuda’s Kathy Lloyd-Hines was the Individual Gross Winner on the final day of play, while Nancy Grote from Ocean Reef was the Individual Net Winner for the day.

Marilyn Hernandez from Puerto Rico was the Closest to Pin, while Bermuda’s Katyna Rabain had the Longest Drive and Bonnie Mitchell from Southwest Florida won the Straight Drive.

Low Gross Bermuda Players today saw Kathy Lloyd-Hines shoot 80, Tracy Nash 84 and Wendy Salvia 86, meanwhile Low Net Bermuda Players saw Monique Ternier shoot 70 and Wendy Salvia & Gladys Chambaz both shot 74.
