Photos: BDA Hogges Draw Against Nor’easters
The Bermuda Hogges picked up their first point of the season with a 1 – 1 draw against visiting Ocean City Nor’easters at the BAA Fieldon Saturday night [June 4].
Angelo Simmons came close to giving the home team the lead midway through the first half, but he blasted his shot from the edge of the six yard box over the top. The two teams went to the break even at 0 – 0.
The game sprung into life in the 70th minute when Ocean City Nor’easters substitute Jidell Roach’s pass found Kevin Strunk who scored. Just when it looked as if the Bermuda Hogges would go down for the third time this season, substitute Domico Coddington got on the end of a pass from Kwame Steede to score the equalizer.
The result earned the Bermuda Hogges their first point of the 2011 USL Premier Development League Season.
