Photos: St George’s Celebrate Cup Match Victory
Hundreds of St George’s supporters turned out this past Friday to celebrate their team’s victory in the 2011 Cup Match Classic. The traditional post-Cup Match victory march saw team captain Oronde Bascome lead the procession from King’s Square to St George’s Cricket Club on horseback.
Once they arrived at the Club, they were greeted by more fans, and entertained by the St Georges Original Dancerettes who were, of course, dressed in blue/blue outfits for the event. SGCC president Neil Paynter announced each player, and gifts and awards were presented to the team members. View videos of the event here, and photos below.
