Fishermen Released From Hospital

Two men rescued after their fishing boat capsized and sank just off Devonshire Bay on Friday [Aug 24] have been released from hospital.

A police spokesperson said, “The 68 year old Pembroke man and 44 year old Pembroke man rescued by members of the public and police officers after their fishing boat capsized and sank off Devonshire Bay around 5:35pm Friday, August 24th have since been released from hospital.

“The Bermuda Police Service would like to commend those members of the public who promptly alerted emergency services to this marine incident and assisted in rescuing these two men for their courageous efforts.”
