  1. Cricket Fan says:

Somerset must be smiling this morning….

    • Mazubo says:

As much as we’re all excited about Cup Match lets not forget the significance of the occasion. The Emancipation of Africans that were enslaved on August 1st 1835. Enjoy and be safe!!!!!!!!!!!

  2. Tashae' says:

ST.GEORGE’S all the way all damn day!!! Bring home the cup where it rightfully belongs boys!! It’s only right x

  3. tidbit says:

Somerset will be making changes to their team next year!!!!! This was already predicted in many areas of Bermuda, you didn’t need no selection committee to figure this side out! “To the victors goes the spoils”! so in essence Somerset was saying , “thank you guys for last years victory”

Well balanced team St. Georges! good leadership Charlie M. it shows your selection committee but some thought in it.

    LET THE GAME BEGIN!!!!!

  4. sml says:

I am a St Georges supporter but a little uncomfortable with their decision adding 4 colts. Lateef has had a good season, so comfortable with him. It appears Somerset may have the better team here. Will be interesting come Thursday and Friday.

  5. Xman says:

I dont think the St.Georges Team will have the same casual non caring attitude that they had last year!
so it will most likely be a hard fought game. – this year the game is going down to the wire.

  6. nok says:

Somerset all day bring it on.

  7. D Lovell says:

There’s a lot of young colts in St. George’s which brings a lot of fresh new energy to the field. As long as they approach this game with a mature mind set, work together as a single unit, recognize their position as the game progresses with a burning desire to WIN then… victory shall be on the horizon.

The Champions Somerset are stacked with good players but are missing in my opinion Bermuda’s best all-rounder who has the most runs this year (recurring year after year) and who has the 2nd most wickets in the premier division league.

It’s still an excellent selection Somerset…

To both teams I wish you the very best and let the best team win!!!

  8. focus says:

Lets go Somerset. St Georges lets see what your wicket is going to be like.

  9. S.M.H. says:

SOMERSET ALL DAY…ALL DE WAY. Good luck to both teams n may the best team win

    • Impressive says:

somehow,, somerset still feel Jacolbi Robinson is a cricket player,, smdh,,

  10. Where ya been says:

How is DeSilva NOT in the Somerset side?!?!?! WTF!

    That don’t make NO SENSE!

SCC Watch out! Don’t chase that bie east!

  11. E$ says:

BLUE AND BLUE ALL DAY! Hope you polished it good for us!

  12. patbean says:

Unless wicket is vastly underprepared challengers will not be able to bowl champs out for under 600 (combined innings) thus thus the most probable result becomes a Somerset victory, with the next likely result being a draw.

N.B. For the many that appear to not know a draw IS a result. There are 4 possible results provided the match is not abandoned – win, loss, draw, tie

  13. Just One says:

Always pick the side that has the most current Eastern Counties Champion players ;-) My money is on Red and Blue!

    • citi zen says:

Just give your money to me. Why waste it! I just love you somerset fans. St. George’s all the way. We have plans for you.hahaha

  14. Um Jus Sayin says:

ST. GEORGE’S ALL THE WAY!!! I hope the colts are hungry enough to make sure the cup stays home! Oronde good luck to you and the team. I will miss Glen this year, but all the best to you and wishing you a speedy recovery.

    BLUE & BLUE & BLUE & BLUE….

  15. UpsetwithVerdict says:

Go Somerset!! I smell a sweet Victory in St. George’s for Somerset! Looking forward to a good game n taking the cup back west! Have a happy n safe Cupmatch Bermuda!!

  16. bun out says:

    BLUE AND BLUE FOR LIFE!!
